Cool Runnins' Deep Freezer race returns! 

Back again for Deep Freeze 2026 is the Cool Runnins’ Deep Freezer Race!

Yep, that’s right – Teams of 5 people race deep freezers on skis across the finish line.

Get your team together and enter online below to race your way to winter glory.

Races take place between noon and 8pm on Saturday, January 17th and noon till 6pm on Sunday, January 18th on 118th Avenue between 92 and 93 streets.

Team races will happen on Saturday January 17th 5-8pm, and Sunday January 18th 4-6pm

Teams must have exactly 5 members: 3 ‘riders’ inside the freezer and 2 ‘pushers’. Riders are highly recommneded to wear their own helmets during the race. 

Teams are encouraged to dress up and bring your team spirit!
