Keri Lynn Zwicker is the chameleon “Harp Chick” about town – from Celtic to Classical, Irish pub to the Winspear, Symphony to Ceili, all while wearing everything from cowboy boots to angel wings.
She is a versatile musician who is sought after as a soloist, teacher and side musician in both Celtic and Classical realms. She holds an ARCT in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory and a Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts from the University of Alberta.
Keri tours internationally with David Wilkie’s band Cowboy Celtic, plays second harp with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and leads a trio of musicians in her solo project Harp Rouge. Zwicker has independently released three CDs of her arrangements of traditional music that feature her Gaelic-styled vocals and Alberta-built carbon fibre harp.
In December 2014, Zwicker premiered her solo orchestral show in Cranbrook, BC with 13 of her pieces arranged for symphony orchestra by renowned composer and conductor Claude LaPalme.
